Chloride-Free Liquid Admixture for Enhanced Mortar Workability

Biokil Crown Mortar Plasticiser is a chloride-free liquid admixture conforming to BS 4887, formulated to improve the workability and durability of bricklaying and rendering mortars. By entraining air into the mix, it enhances frost resistance and reduces the risk of shrinkage and cracking. This admixture is suitable for use in cement, sand-cement, and lime-sand mortars, providing a more cohesive and workable mix.

Application Instructions

1. Dosage: Add 250 ml of Mortar Plasticiser per 50 kg of fresh ordinary Portland cement.
2. Mixing: Add the plasticiser to the gauging water and mix thoroughly. Do not add directly to dry aggregates.
3. Application: Suitable for use in pointing mortar (sand:cement ratio 3:1), bedding mortar (sand:cement ratio 4–6:1), and wall rendering (sand:cement ratio 4–6:1).
