ACS Boracol 10 - Dual-Action Wood Preservative

Dual-Action Wood Preservative for the Treatment and Prevention of Fungal Decay and Insect Infestation

ACS Boracol 10 is a high-quality, dual-purpose wood preservative formulated to combat fungal decay (including dry rot and wet rot) and wood-boring insects such as woodworm. Based on a combination of boron and glycol, it penetrates deeply into the timber structure for long-lasting protection. Ideal for remedial timber treatment in both domestic and commercial buildings, it can be used on floors, joists, roof timbers, and structural joinery.

Key Features & Benefits

  • Dual Protection: Treats and prevents fungal growth and insect attack in one easy application.
  • Deep Penetration: Boron and glycol base allows for effective absorption into even dense timbers.
  • Low Odour: Water-based formula ensures minimal disruption and is suitable for internal use.
  • Non-Staining: Clear formulation leaves timber looking natural and untreated.
  • Easy Application: Brush, roller, or spray application with no mixing required.

Product Details

  • Formulation: Boron-based wood preservative with glycol carrier
  • Type: Liquid – ready to use
  • Application: Brush, roller, or low-pressure spray
  • Coverage: Approx. 3–5 m² per litre depending on surface porosity
  • Use Areas: Roof timbers, floor joists, structural and decorative woodwork
