Biokil Crown Dustproofer Hardener is a concentrated silicate solution designed for direct application to concrete surfaces. It effectively hardens and dustproofs the surface, making it suitable for both internal and external use. The fast-acting formula leaves a residual surface to prevent further dusting and helps prevent bloom/efflorescence.

• Drying Time: 24 hours per coat.

• Shelf Life: Almost indefinite when stored according to manufacturer's instructions.

Application Instructions

1. Surface Preparation: Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from debris or growth. Repair any defects prior to application.
2. Application: Apply by brush or spray at a rate of 1 litre per 5 m². Work well into the surface.
3. Second Coat: Apply a second coat after 24 hours.
4. Final Rinse: Allow the second coat to dry for 24 hours, then hose down the entire area with cold, clean water to remove any unreacted surplus material.
5. Additional Coats: Further coats may be applied to exceptionally dusty floors.

Limitations

• Only suitable for use on cement-containing surfaces.
• Do not apply to concrete within 28 days of laying.
• Will not restore badly disintegrated concrete; carry out necessary repairs prior to use.
• Always wash down to remove unreacted material after use.

Health & Safety

Contains sodium silicate. Risk of serious damage to the eyes. Wear suitable eye/face protection and avoid contact with skin. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. Keep out of reach of children.
