Long-Term Protection Against Water Damage for Mortar, Render & Screed

EVERBUILD® 202 Integral Liquid Waterproofer is a high-performance liquid/gel admixture designed to significantly reduce water permeability in cement-based mixes. Ideal for both above and below ground applications, it enhances the durability of mortar, render, and screed by providing long-term protection against water ingress. The inclusion of an air-entraining agent ensures improved workability without compromising the mix's integrity.

Product Details

• Appearance: Soft mobile gel.

• Shelf Life: 24 months in original unopened containers.
• Storage Conditions: Store in original containers between +5°C and +40°C.

Application Instructions

1. Mixing: Add to gauging water at a rate of 0.5 to 1.0 litre per 100 kg of cement. Alternatively, mix one part EVERBUILD® 202 with 20 to 40 parts water, then add to the mix. Ensure thorough dispersion.
2. Mix Design: For renders, use a mix of 3 parts sharp sand to 1 part cement by volume. For external renders, a mix of 4.5 parts sharp sand to 1 part cement is recommended.
3. Application: Apply render in two coats, achieving a total thickness of 18–20 mm. For swimming pools and tanks, apply an 18–20 mm thick render coat over walls and a 35–38 mm thick render over floors.
4. Note: Reduce the total required quantity of water accordingly (by up to 20%). Gauge the mix as stiff as possible to minimize the risk of cracking.

Limitations

• Not suitable for use in structural concrete.
• Not intended as a replacement for a damp-proof course (DPC).
• Will not withstand permanent hydrostatic pressure.
• Does not repel water; for a water-repellent finish, overcoat with EVERBUILD® WATERSEAL.

Cleaning of Tools

Clean all tools and equipment with water immediately after use. Once cured, the material can only be removed mechanically.
