Traditional Oil-Based Mastic for Durable Sealing

EVERBUILD® EVERFLEX® 115 GP Building Mastic is a traditional oil-based pointing mastic designed for general sealing and pointing applications in traditional construction. It provides an effective weatherproof seal and adheres to most common building materials without the need for a primer.

Product Details

• Colours: White, Brown, Grey, Stone.
• Packaging: 285ml cartridges.
• Application Temperature: +5°C to +50°C.
• Service Temperature: -25°C to +70°C (intermittent up to +90°C).
• Skinning Time: Approximately 24 hours, depending on conditions.
• Full Cure Time: Up to 7 days, depending on joint depth and ambient conditions.
• Movement Capability: Low movement joints (±7.5%).

Application Instructions

1. Surface Preparation: Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, and other contaminants.
2. Application: Cut the nozzle to the required width and apply using a standard sealant gun. Smooth the sealant with a wet spatula or tool within 15 minutes of application.
3. Finishing: Allow the sealant to skin over and cure fully before overpainting.

Limitations

• Not suitable for use in areas subject to constant water immersion.
• Not recommended for use in floor joints or areas with high abrasion.
• May stain natural stone; test on a small area before full application.
• Do not apply when rain is imminent or in temperatures below +5°C.

Cleaning of Tools

Clean tools and excess mastic with white spirit immediately after use. Once cured, the mastic can only be removed mechanically.
