Trowel-applied, it forms a weather-tight seal, making it ideal for external applications. The added plasticiser improves adhesion and helps prevent cracking, ensuring long-lasting performance.

- Application Method: Apply using a trowel
- Drying Time: Surface skin forms in 7 to 28 days, depending on conditions
- Overpainting: Can be overpainted with oil-based paints after skin formation
Application Instructions
- Surface Preparation: Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, or other contaminants.
- Application: Use a thin pointing trowel or putty knife to apply the product, working it thoroughly into the joint to eliminate voids. Smooth the finish into a triangular fillet.
- Joint Dimensions: For fillet pointing between the frame and surround, joints should have a minimum width of 10 mm and a minimum depth of 6 mm.
- Overpainting: Once a surface skin has formed, the product can be fully protected with an undercoat and topcoat. Allow 28 days for drying before overpainting, using only oil-based paints.
Limitations
- Not suitable for use on plastic frames or heat-absorbing glass
- Do not apply to wet or damp surfaces
- Not recommended for internal use
Cleaning of Tools
Clean tools immediately after use with white spirit. Cured material can only be removed mechanically.
